For Christchurch Airport’s rebranding, I was commissioned to create photographic murals for many of the airbridges. Each airbridge represents a South Island region, and presents travellers with an immersive experience to walk through.
The murals measured 2.7 metres high and were up to 30 metres long. Specialised panorama and image stitching techniques were used to obtain the resolution required and enhance the immersive experience. As well as the airbridges, other common spaces in the airport were adorned with my panoramic murals.
Kia Ora/Welcome Mural
The Kia Ora/Welcome mural was created from these composite elements and is 2.4 metres high.

Photographed as a complete 360 degree panorama that can be printed continuously.
